Green Innovator: Green Art Solution
Eduard van Vliet is the founder of Green Art Solutions. He is an innovator and developer with
nature as the source of inspiration for all his projects. He started designing roof garden landscapes some 30 years ago. Over the years, these designs have evolved into a total concept of green on roofs, along facades, indoors and in gardens. He now also designs plant installations within offices, meeting rooms and living spaces.
As one of the first in his field, Eduard has developed concepts such as “trees or ponds on roofs,” “delayed drainage of rainwater” or “purifying air.” Eduard is continuously searching for the most sustainable solutions. His goal is to make the urban environment function as a more pleasant and healthier place.
Eduard sees ‘green’ as the starting point in designs and advice. From here, a solution is created for coming up with sustainable, healthy and atmospheric living environments. It is of great importance to him to be constantly curious about the unknown and to learn by “doing.” Eduard’s mission is to restore the balance between nature and man.
